Elon Musk went on an explosive rant on Twitter, calling President Donald Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill a “disgusting abomination” a few days after his formal exit as a particular authorities worker heading the Department of Government Efficiency.

Trump stated farewell to tech billionaire Musk on Friday, as the latter formally left his job, after main DOGE for 130 days. The billionaire led allies and donated about $275 million, which catapulted Trump to a second time period.

“I’m sorry but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk, who was revealed to be allegedly utilizing drug cocktails by a bombastic New York Times article final week, wrote.

“This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” he stated on X.

“Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it,” he added, claiming that it can “massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion and burden America citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt.”

Previously, Musk has expressed disapproval for the laws, a query that left Trump stammering, the Mirror US reported.

Musk beforehand stated he was “disappointed” by what the president touts as his “big, beautiful bill.”

Musk criticized the centerpiece of Trump’s legislative agenda, a vital fracture in a partnership that was solid during final 12 months’s marketing campaign and was poised to reshape American politics and the federal authorities.

Musk stated it’s a “massive spending bill” that increases the federal deficit and “undermines the work” of his Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE. “I think a bill can be big or it could be beautiful,” Musk said. “But I don’t know if it could be both.”

When asked about his reaction to Musk’s criticism, Trump did not mention his former close political ally.‌

Instead, he touted how amazing the bill is, and hit out at Democrats.

“They allowed that to occur to our nation. We do not have one Democrat vote, and if I had been a Democrat, I’d be voting for this invoice, and I’d get elected to any place I need as a Democrat,” Trump said.

House party leader Hakeem Jeffries has called the more than 100-page “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” an “excessive and poisonous invoice.”

Of the several facets to the bill, it introduces tax cuts for individuals and businesses, including a temporary boost in the standard deduction — a $1,000 increase for individuals, bringing it to $16,000 for individual filers, and a $2,000 boost for joint filers, bringing it to $32,000. The deduction reduces the amount of income that is actually subject to income tax.

The child tax credit will also be temporarily increased by $500, to $2,500 for 2025 through 2028. It then returned to $2,000 and will increase to account for inflation.

States will also have to shoulder 5% of benefit costs, beginning in fiscal 2028, and 75% of the administrative costs for the Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program, which provides food assistance to Americans. This will bring down spending on food aid by $267 billion over a decade.

Republicans are also expanding the work requirements to receive food aid. Under current law, able-bodied adults without dependents must fulfill work requirements until they are 54, and that would change under the bill to age 64.

The bill also has new work requirements for Medicaid, aiming to reduce nearly $700 billion in Medicaid spending.

For able-bodied adults without dependents, new “community engagement requirements” of at least 80 hours per month of work, education, or service would make them eligible for Medicaid. The new requirement would not kick in until Jan. 1, 2029, after Trump leaves office. People would also have to verify their eligibility for the program twice a year rather than just once.

The package will eliminate a $200 tax on gun silencers that has existed since Congress passed the National Firearms Act in 1934, and $46.5 billion to revive construction of Trump’s wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, and more money for the deportation agenda.
