A thriller touted as “bigger than Line of Duty” is set to launch its fifth collection this yr, with the next two already confirmed for renewal, according to experiences.

As per Deadline, the sixth collection is “in the can” and the seventh will start filming in “late September or early October,” following the airing of the fifth.

After receiving a knighthood in King Charles’ Birthday Honours, Oldman expressed delight at the burgeoning success of Slow Horses in the US, as he defined to the press that it is “really started to gather some momentum here in the US” following its four-season run.

“I think it’s truly international now,” he remarked.

Continuing with his reward for the collection, he revealed: “I just adore the hell out of it, and the people. It is just such a wonderful thing really to be part of.”

Oldman then mirrored on why he believes Slow Horses has captured viewers’ imaginations, pondering that the show resonates because the characters are “people that we can relate to”.

“We are so sort of contaminated with the idea of the spy world being and casinos and Aston Martins that I think it connects with people because the people in it are ordinary people who do heroic things, without any gizmos,” he elaborated.
