‘And Just Like That’ bigwig hints panned show can…

Carrie Bradshaw could write again.

The “intimacy and the City” spinoff “And Just Like That” could have been met with swift backlash that lasted through its Aug. 14 collection finale — but it won’t be the end.

“Well, she’s alive, so it could happen,” government producer Elisa Zuritsky told TV Line of Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie.

Zuritsky added that Parker is creator Michael Patrick King’s “muse, and the reason he says ‘I’ve said goodbye before and I’ve come back’ is because it’s true.”

The show debuted in 2021 and ran for three seasons.

“We serve at [King’s] pleasure,” she said, but “I am the eternal optimist. So I don’t like to be too final about things, and life is long. I mean, we’ve all seen lots of things happen.”

Zuritsky retains notes with concepts for more tales about Carrie (Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) on her cellphone and laptop just in case.

“SATC” initially aired on HBO from 1999 to 2004, following Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) through their love lives in New York City. They returned for two films in 2008 and 2010, before Parker, Nixon, and Davis returned for “And Just Like That” on HBO Max.

The spinoff show was controversial from the start, as it started by killing off Carrie’s longtime love, Big (Chris Noth), and new characters such as Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) had been unpopular among followers.

Prior to Season 3, neither King, Parker, or HBO announced that it could be the ultimate season.

In fact, costume designer Molly Rogers told The Post that she was never formally told “And Just Like That” was over.

“It wasn’t like HBO sent an email saying, ‘pack your bags,’” Rogers solely told The Post. “I think that’s the only way these days to keep something a secret. Total blackout.”

The Emmy-winning costume designer, who also labored on “intimacy and the City” and the “SATC” films, had an inkling that Carrie’s story was full when she read the script for the ultimate episode.

“I read it and I started thinking,’ oh yeah.’ There were a lot of little underlying – I feel like – subliminal messages. No one said it [was the end], but in my mind, I always imagined that Carrie would be happily by herself the last time we saw her.”

King and Parker both shared the news that “AJLT” was ending on social media on Aug. 1, just two weeks before the collection finale aired.

The show ended with Carrie alone in her house, apparently at peace with being single.
