Emmerdale viewers work out who rescues Mackenzie Boyd | UK News

Emmerdale followers have speculated that somebody will arrive and save Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), but it will not be Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) or Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).

Friday’s (September 5) episode of the ITV cleaning soap featured no indicators of Mack, with some satisfied that John completed him off once and for all. Last night time’s episode concluded with John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) approaching Mack with an axe, moments after he believed somebody had turned up just in time to rescue him.

Prior to this, Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) finally realised that John has been the individual he has been talking to on the helpline, leaving him involved for what he may do to himself and Aaron.

After making an attempt and failing to confide in Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), Paddy turned to Robert and voiced his worries during tonight’s episode.

This has left followers speculating whether or not Paddy may very well be the individual who saves Mack from the clutches of John.

One wrote: “Will the axe fall on mack on #emmerdale or will Paddy arrive to save the day? Tense or what?!!!!”

Another penned: “Maybe Mack was hallucinating and it wasn’t actually John’s van? Paddy needs to come and save the day.”

Echoing this concept, a third shared: “I think it was a passer by who picked him up too and he was hallucinating.”

A fourth agreed: “Could that van belong to Paddy and John was hallucinating?”

Others imagine that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) may very well be the one who rescues Mackenzie.

One posted: “Someone actually thinks that Bear might save Mack, which I didn’t really think about as he is living in his car.”

At the end of tonight’s episode, a disorientated Aaron realised that John has been drugging him. When urged to drink water given to him by John, Aaron hesitated.

Despite being suspicious of his husband, Aaron was not ready for the invention he was about to make. Searching under a pile of garments, Aaron discovered Mack’s telephone in John’s posessions.

Reminded of Mackenzie’s voice earlier in the day, Aaron realised that it actually was his best pal calling out for help.
