Bryson DeChambeau moves on from Ryder Cup | Golf News

Bryson DeChambeau has already put the Ryder Cup behind him and returned to YouTube, teaming up with Kevin Hart in the method.

Heading into the 2025 Ryder Cup, DeChambeau was backed by many to be a standout star for Keegan Bradley’s Team USA at Bethpage Black. But the LIV Golf ace struggled as Europe gained, with Rory McIlroy even taking a sly shot at his rival during the celebrations.

During Sunday singles, in which Viktor Hovland’s injury triggered the envelope rule, awarding both groups a half level, DeChambeau discovered himself trailing Matt Fitzpatrick by 5 pictures through the first seven holes. He fought back admirably, sharing the purpose and avoiding what appeared to be a complete defeat.

With the LIV Golf season in the books and the Ryder Cup over with Europe rising 15-13 victors, DeChambeau has returned to YouTube. The 32-year-old has turn out to be a family title on the video-sharing web site, introducing golf to a new viewers through his entertaining videos.

On Tuesday, just days after his Ryder Cup agony, DeChambeau launched a video with comic Hart. In the video, which is over an hour and 16 minutes long, Hart serves as DeChambeau’s caddie, selecting his golf equipment, studying each putt, and determining yardage.

The episode is one of a number of in a new sequence called ‘Caddie Talk,’ which is able to characteristic different celebrities making an attempt their hand at serving as DeChambeau’s caddie. Their expertise can be scored and rated against one another, with a leaderboard rating each one.

DeChambeau and Hart took to North Ranch Country Club as the American seems to transfer on from defeat at Bethpage Black. The two-time US Open champion, who had not performed in the Ryder Cup since 2021, went 1-3-1 and was disillusioned by his displaying versus Fitzpatrick, despite the super struggle back. 

“Today I didn’t get off to the best of starts, and Matt was playing really well,” DeChambeau told reporters. “It’s one of those situations where I didn’t play bad. I just didn’t have anything go my way. Three-putted 3 and just didn’t really get anything going until No. 8. Gave me a little glimmer of hope, and I took it.

“You know, it was one of those situations where I just thought back to what Xander said, ‘It’s not over till the whistle blows.’ And I wasn’t willing to give up for this team. They have been so amazing to me this week, and for however long I’ve known myself to be on this team, they have just been incredible. I couldn’t give up for these guys.

“And so my thought process was to just keep swimming, just keep moving and keep fighting back. I fought my ass off today for this team, for this country, and we all fought hard today. You can see, it reflects in the leaderboard and what we did today.

“We’re not quitters. We’re not people that go down easy. So, so proud to be a part of this team, and it was great to get a half-point out of it. Wish I would have gotten a point, though.”
