Antony Blinken Gives Biden Credit for Gaza Deal,

When I wrote on Saturday that the international coverage institution is in utter shambles, I’m not sure I anticipated them to reply with such utter shamelessness. Yet, right here we’re, with former Secretary of State Antony Blinken giving Joseph Robinette Biden credit for the just lately negotiated Gaza peace deal. 

No, I’m not kidding, and that’s not even the worst of it.

As PinkState reported, the deal will see the release of the remaining hostages, with Israel not having to vacate Gaza. Instead, they’re going to pull back to a predetermined line inside the territory, forming a buffer zone to make sure the disarmament of Hamas. 

Clearly, this was a major victory for the Trump administration, which threw apart the standard knowledge of the international coverage “experts” and paved its own path. Yet, according to Blinken, they have been merely following Biden’s plan.

Comparing the horrible ceasefire Blinken and Biden brokered to this one is so disingenuous. That ceasefire was never viable because it left hostages in the fingers of Hamas, and it offered no path to disarm and absolutely defeat the terrorist group, instead demanding Israel primarily give up. It was the standard warmed-over slop we have come to anticipate from the Obama/Biden axis of international coverage experience. 

At no level did the Biden administration apply any stress on the Arab nations to flip against Hamas and end the conflict. More importantly, they never utilized stress on Iran, which was fueling the battle in Gaza and propping up Hezbollah in the north as a menace. In short, the whole area was on fire, and it was handed over to Trump in far worse condition than Biden and company discovered it.

For Blinken to fake the previous administration laid the groundwork and confirmed the trail ahead is laughable. But he hadn’t reached peak shamelessness yet. That got here later in his thread when he demanded the institution of a Palestinian state.

This absolute clown. If you have been following this issue for any quantity of time, you’ll perceive how infuriating that is. The international coverage institution has insisted for a long time that you would never get Arab buy-in, defeat Hamas, neuter Hezbollah, and restrict Iran without giving the terrorists in Gaza a state. That issue was handled as the key to every little thing, mainly turning into a tenet of religion and a bludgeon to beat Israel with. Trump walked in and proved them all unsuitable, securing the Abraham Accords and ending the conflict in Gaza by marginalizing the issue, and yet they’re still claiming that a Palestinian state must be established. 

Americans must be so grateful that no one is listening to these over-credentialed imbeciles anymore. The arsonists do not get to wag their fingers and lecture the firefighters who put out their fires. They definitely do not get to take credit for it. The international coverage institution is a joke, and it must be handled as such.
