Robert Irwin shares he almost died on Dancing | TV Shows


Robert Irwin shared he “almost died” on Dancing with the Stars this week.

The 21-year-old wildlife conservationalist is competing on the ABC dancing competitors sequence with professional Witney Carson and has develop into a fan favourite. This week, the show celebrated Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night on Tuesday, November 4. In the episode, the solid was cut up up into groups for group dances, and each workforce carried out alongside one of the co-hosts, Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro.

Robert was half of Team Kool, along with Julianne, Andy Richter (who was workforce captain) and Emma Slater, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten. They danced to Celebration by Kool & The Gang, with the band performing the music live. Team Kool in the end scored 38 out of 40.

The Australian TV persona spoke about that efficiency with Entertainment Tonight and revealed how lethal it was, as nicely as what made it lethal.

“I almost died tonight. I choked on a piece of confetti after the team dance. Legit, I went over to Witney, and I think they cut away,” Robert said.

He went on to reiterate that he “inhaled” a piece of confetti and how he “couldn’t breathe.” Robert told Witney that he went over to her and then mimed choking on the confetti with a gasping expression. Witney seemed shocked, as if she didn’t realize Robert had been suffocating. Robert continued telling his story of how he coughed and the confetti “popped out.”

Witney also shared her two cents on the matter and reassured that she “will take care” of Robert following the incident.

“I didn’t even know that was happening. I would have been a shield like this with the confetti,” she said, as she put her fingers in a defend movement.

Along with the workforce dance, Robert and Witney also did their own quantity. They carried out a paso doble to The White Stripes’ Icky and obtained a rating of 38 out of 40.

Robert and Witney will return to the dance ground in next week’s episode of DWTS.

Before the episode aired, Robert and Witney expressed gratitude and appreciation to their followers in a TikTok video. The wildlife photographer captioned, “I am having the time of my LIFE, and I’m so grateful for you all.

“Thank you for voting – we really feel your love and assist as you come along on this journey… and it really means the world to me,” Irwin said. “Witney, thanks for believing in me to take on new challenges every week. Here’s to another epic dance!”
