Things took a heated flip on The View as the ladies at the desk discovered themselves conflicted over a pending deal between Senate Democrats and Republicans to end the federal government shutdown, with issues imploding as they all fought to get a phrase in.

While Griffin had beforehand criticized her own celebration on the show over their response to Democrats sweeping elections across the board one week in the past, she sided with the Republican viewpoint this time, as did Haines, who praised the fact that furloughed employees would now be paid, which set off a firestorm among the other three panelists.
Things took an particularly heated flip, with both Haines and Griffin principally sitting in silence, as Goldberg, Navarro, and Hostin shared their viewpoints on the issue.

“We won’t get better with Donald Trump. We’re not going to get better, because with Donald Trump, the cruelty is the point. He does not care,” she said. “The last thing that I’ll say about the federal workers, there’s a 2019 law that required the federal government to pay federal workers–”
“You must, it’s the law,” Goldberg interrupted.
“It’s the law,” Hostin continued. “So the fact that the Democrats traded in their vote to get federal workers working again is ludicrous. Let the courts do their job!”
Griffin then interrupted, sharing that it was more about the SNAP advantages that had not been funded to Americans who utilized this system, before issues once again bought heated, as Goldberg weighed in.
“No, it’s to get snap benefits up,” Griffin said. “People can’t eat.”
“Listen, this is a b–h we’ve had forever about people starving in America. This is the richest country in the world, and somebody had the nerve to write we’re out of money. We’re not out of money, we didn’t run out of money, there’s money there!” Goldberg said.
After she was then interrupted by Navarro, who identified that $40 billion was despatched to Argentina and that the Big Beautiful Bill had given tax breaks to the extremely rich, Goldberg continued to unleash, referring to authorities officers all as “clowns.”
“I told you all this was crazy. I told you all this was insane. I’m watching the fact that people are starving in Africa, starving, that in Darfur, there’s a genocide. People are being massacred. And these clowns have not mentioned it once,” she slammed. “They have said we’re not sending out any money, we’re America first, and yet, we bailed out Argentina, we’re messing with Viktor Orban, what the hell is going on in this country?”
“America is hot, but she’s not going to burn.”
