Fox News fans mock Trump for believing hell get | TV Shows
Fox News viewers are all saying the same factor after the president backpeddled on his feedback about getting into heaven.
In October, President Donald Trump was requested by reporters about a remark he had made about how ending the battle in Ukraine could help him get into heaven. However, he responded by saying, “You know, I’m being a little cute. I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to get me into heaven. Okay? I think, I’m not, maybe, really heaven-bound.”
Despite this, practically one month on from his unique remark, the 79-year-old has claimed he was being “sarcastic” and that the comment shouldn’t have been taken critically.
In an interview with Laura Ingraham for Fox News, Trump backpeddled on his earlier heaven feedback, saying, “So the other day, The New York Times did a story and took that statement totally literally. When I made that statement, I was being funny, sarcastic. You know it’s bad for a politician to be sarcastic.”
Continuing, the president joked, “I said, ‘I’m never going to make it to heaven. I don’t think I can make it, I don’t think I qualify.’ I was kidding, I was having fun. I don’t know if I will or not, I don’t know.”
However, after the video went viral on social media, many of the interview’s viewers echoed each other’s sentiments by reiterating that Trump was proper the first time, and that he most likely will not be getting into heaven.
“Trump says he was just being sarcastic about heaven — which is fair, since even eternity might need term limits if he got in,” one particular person wrote, alluding to his Trump 2028 plans.
“It’s not funny. I was brought up in the Roman Catholic Church, and there’s no way he’s going to heaven. Especially after taking food away from starving kids,” a second wrote, while a third X consumer added, “There is nothing funny about him. In any case, a man who has done all the things he has and who never apologizes or asks for forgiveness will not be going to heaven. He knows this.”
Many others also famous that President Trump could also be heading for a different vacation spot, one with a barely hotter climate.
“Yeah, he’s going to whatever level is below hell,” one X consumer quipped, with another sharing a photograph of Trump with the Devil, which said, “Trump going to hell.”
However, a few people sided with the previous Apprentice star, as one MAGA fan chimed in with, “Ending eight wars (soon to be nine) is his ticket into heaven.”
President Trump was raised in his Scottish-born mom’s Presbyterian religion, and publicly recognized with the religion until 2020, when he declared himself a nondenominational Christian. Melania Trump, his spouse and First Lady of the United States, is Roman Catholic and it has not been confirmed which religion their son, Barron, follows, but he has been baptized.
