Sean Duffy warns ‘we will not get to Thanksgiving’

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy issued a dire warning that vacationers will expertise large delays this weekend if the House of Representatives does not go the invoice to end the shutdown on Wednesday.

When requested about cost for those employees, Duffy commented that they will obtain funds within 24 to 48 hours of the federal government reopening. 

“They’ll get 70% of their back pay in that time frame,” Duffy commented. “And then after, the remainder will be made up. I think it’s about a week.” 

Mass chaos

Duffy had beforehand said that the transportation division would start closing airspace to compensate for the scarcity of air site visitors controllers. “If you deliver us to a week from today, Democrats, you will see mass chaos, you will see mass flight delays,” he told reporters at the press briefing.

Flight delays have grow to be commonplace across the nation as the shutdown continues to be the longest in U.S. historical past, with staffing shortages compounding the issue.

NBC News reported last week that over 5,000 flights touring to and from U.S. airports had been delayed on Sunday alone. Duffy grimly announced that more delays are possible as the shutdown persists.

Trump continued, “For those that did nothing but complain, and took time off, even though everyone knew they would be paid, IN FULL, shortly into the future, I am NOT HAPPY WITH YOU.”

He said, “You didn’t step up to help the U.S.A. against the FAKE DEMOCRAT ATTACK that was only meant to hurt our Country.

“You will have a detrimental mark, at least in my thoughts, against your file,” he said. “If you need to go away service in the close to future, please do not hesitate to do so, with NO cost or severance of any variety!”.
