President Donald Trump just reacted to the heartbreaking news about two National Guard troops who had been shot on Wednesday, just blocks away from the White House.
In a Truth Social post, Trump revealed the condition the 2 guard members had been in, saying they had been “critically wounded” and labeled the suspect who shot them as an “animal” who was also in the hospital with accidents.
The post read:
The animal that shot the 2 National Guardsmen, with both being critically wounded, and now in two separate hospitals, is also severely wounded, but regardless, pays a very steep price. God bless our Great National Guard, and all of our Military and Law Enforcement. These are really Great People. I, as President of the United States, and everybody related with the Office of the Presidency, am with you!
