Dems Continue to Show Insulting Disregard for

It’s authorities cheese time, y’all. 

When I used to be a youngin’, just after the dinosaurs stopped roaming the earth, a few weeks before the elections, our alderman would pop into the neighborhood with authorities cheese, powdered milk, and a declare about how a lot he’d performed for the neighborhood and to make sure we vote for him. He stored getting re-elected every 12 months, so I assumed it labored.

The pandering from Democrat candidates has modified types over the years, but the strategy is still the same: the handouts are as faux and inauthentic as that cheese, and guarantees made will never be guarantees stored.

KBLA discuss radio host Tavis Smiley received to area some of that cheese and guarantees from former Biden HHS Secretary and Democrat nominee for California governor Xavier Becerra. When Smiley requested Becerra what he would do for Black Californians, Becerra did the then-Senator Kamala Harris dodge when she was requested in her 2019 presidential run about reparations: “I’m not gonna sit here and say I’m going to do something that only gonna benefit Black people!”

Becerra dug real deep — all the way in which back to Reconstruction, for his reply: 

And Tavis, I need every Black voter in California to look at me and say, “We gotta vote for this guy,” because he is gonna to give us an alternative. What I’m not going to do is, I’m not gonna to promise you 40 acres and a mule, ‘trigger I do know what occurs when you make those sorts of guarantees. I need to ship. When I used to be an AG, I wished to ship outcomes. That’s why I I took on this issue of money bail. 

discriminatory a lot? So, Blacks are either criminals apprehensive about making bail, or we’re only in handouts? What about those hardworking Black households in Altadena who misplaced their home in the Eaton Fire, and thanks to authorities incompetence and an insurance coverage and regulatory quagmire, they’re prevented from rebuilding a home that has been in their household for generations? Becerra has no clear solutions because he a) does not assume very extremely of anybody Black and b) hasn’t given it an ounce of thought past a marketing campaign response. 

Political commentator Seneca Scott rightly calls out the disdain that Democrats, and particularly Becerra, really really feel for Black voters as they pander for their vote.

Of course, Becerra has seen all the video and press that Republican gubernatorial nominee Steve Hilton has garnered for truly going into neighborhoods, listening to, and breaking bread with voters; so, Becerra determined he needed to pander to his ace-in-the-hole L.A. Black contingent.

Newsflash: Nothing has been performed about Black maternal health, and those lacking and trafficked unaccompanied minors would love a phrase about his “experience.”

Becerra’s pander tour included kissing the ring of the pastor of West Angeles Church of God in Christ, Bishop Charles Blake and First Lady DeAndrea Blake. “West Angeles” is the most important Black church in South L.A. and a needed marketing campaign stop for Democrats wanting the Black vote. So far, there may be no footage displaying Becerra broke out a Black accent or whether or not he had some sizzling sauce stashed in his swimsuit jacket.

Becerra used the phrase “opportunity,” but as Scott factors out, they’ve no alternatives for Black people — they do not need Blacks to have alternatives. The mushy bigotry of low expectations is clearly evident in the fact that all Becerra may come up with is money bail. They just need to inebriate, medicate, and incarcerate us. As Scott so aptly said: “Black people need to start respecting ourselves and not vote for these people.”

We’ll see, but California could also be means gone at this level.

But not Michigan. On Saturday, former President Barack Obama will marketing campaign with Democrat Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, because El-Sayed has a Black voter downside. The only time they drag the now desiccated Hope and Change prez is when a candidate wants to get the Blacks in line. In the meantime, El Sayed is filming an embarrassing Black voter outreach video where he tries to “Blacksplain” our troubled experiences with people of Middle Eastern descent.

Even more embarrassing, he goes to lunch with this Black podcaster and orders fried chicken. Are you kidding me?! And if that chicken is the real article and made in true Southern fashion, it is undoubtedly not Halal.

In the August Michigan major, Black voters overwhelmingly selected his opponent, Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11), and despite her post-primary endorsement of El-Sayed, these voters haven’t moved into his camp. If El-Sayed’s pandermonium retains going as anticipated, Republican nominee Mike Rogers may run away with this.

And as we have documented effectively on these pages, TX Democrat Senate nominee James Talarico has had a Black voter issue since he bested their favourite Democrat Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) in the March Senate major, and he is been circling the drain ever since. Since then, Talarico has blown off occasions in Black communities, disappeared from a Black voter outreach ZOOM call, and a pledged $25 million for outreach and door knocking has been nonexistent as the marketing campaign pulls the purse strings tight.

Black voters aren’t just being taken for granted by Talarico; they’re being fully ignored. When given the selection between hobnobbing with Hollywood and New York elites and rubbing shoulders with Black Texas voters, Talarico prefers Foie Gras to Fried Chicken. 

According to Republican strategist Rebecca Trahan, early voting goes effectively.. for the Republicans.

Seems like Black Texans could also be getting the memo from their Michigan brothers and sisters. It can be good if this election cycle is the death knell to Democrats’ pander theater.
