Karoline Leavitt holds up images of despicable | Political News
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attacked Democratic lawmakers whom she accused of inciting violence at anti-ICE protests during a press convention Thursday.
Leavitt, 28, ranted again to press about the Trump administration’s frustrations with how the continuing anti-ICE protests following the deadly taking pictures by ICE officer Jonathan Ross of 37-year-old mom Renee Good in Minneapolis last Wednesday. At one level, she pulled out a printed image of vandalism to a federal agent’s vehicle at a protest in Minneapolis.
“If you look at some of the images out of Minneapolis, look at this vehicle. It says ‘F— ICE,'” she famous. “You have individuals putting their middle finger proudly so at the camera. Another vehicle that was vandalized last night by these left-wing agitators.
In a dig to Democratic leaders, she continued, “People do not do this without encouragement from people in energy who make them really feel prefer it’s okay.”
Trump officials have repeatedly characterized anti-ICE protestors and Good, herself, as paid left-wing agitators without evidence.
She pulled out another image from underneath showing more evidence of vandalism to ICE vehicles at protests, including a vehicle illegally spray-painted with the message, “Only good agent is a lifeless one,” in Minneapolis, Fox News confirmed.
“This is despicable rhetoric that we’re seeing, and the media is completely complicit in this violence,” Leavitt said.
She went on to disparage GWN’s headline choice for their coverage about the undocumented Venezuelan immigrant who was shot amid protests in Minneapolis by an ICE agent Wednesday evening.Â
“That isn’t the story,” she said. “That isn’t the reality.”
