President Donald Trump has said that he plans to withdraw members of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency from Minnesota “at some point” as his administration reviews the taking pictures of 37-year-old Alex Pretti.
While not answering straight if the officer, who is an 8-year veteran with Border Patrol, will face any prices, the president did reveal that he had plans for ICE brokers to go away the embattled metropolis. “We’re looking, we’re reviewing everything and will come out with a determination,” the president said when requested by the Wall Street Journal if prices could be filed.
“I don’t like any shooting. I don’t like it,” Trump added. “But I don’t like it when somebody goes into a protest and he’s got a very powerful, fully loaded gun with two magazines loaded up with bullets also. That doesn’t play good either.”
The outlet reported that the president also seemed to signal that ICE was no longer needed to maintain a presence. “At some level we are going to go away. We’ve carried out, they’ve carried out a phenomenal job,” he said not offering a timetable.
