During last week’s scenes, the ITV drama featured a whodunnit storyline centring on villain Ray Walters. Thursday’s episode noticed Ray stay decided about fleeing the village and beginning recent someplace new.
With Paddy Kirk prepared to alert the authorities, Ray threatened younger Eve, leaving both Paddy and Dylan Penders distraught as they grappled with their choices.

During a brutal confrontation, Bear fatally attacked Ray while making an attempt to defend his son Paddy and Dylan, despite their pleas for him to stop.
Following the explosive instalment, Paddy and Dylan have fashioned a conspiracy of silence, helping a troubled Bear in masking up and concealing the killing.
Discussing his character’s trajectory, Bear actor Joshua revealed to Metro: “How he moves on I don’t know. It’s a painful process and I’m looking forward to the complexities with the writers and producers and the directors to find out where the journey goes next and what pathways we’re going to go down.
“We’ve just been filming stuff already today and I’ve been shouting at Paddy. So perhaps he’s getting back to his outdated self if he’s shouting at people! But he’s still not proper and this will take some time.

“The relationship between the two is an ongoing one – sometimes tenuous, sometimes loving, sometimes difficult, sometimes exhilarating. I’m so fortunate to be having the pleasure and honour of working with the wonderful Dominic Brunt [who plays Paddy].”
