The Boys breakout star hits at spinoff as he | TV Shows

The breakout teen star of The Boys is on board for his own spin-off once the hit Amazon sequence ends next month.

Cameron Crovetti, who performs Ryan Butcher, guarantees followers will probably be served “a lot of crazy s—” in the wild superhero Prime Video sequence.

Fan favourite Cameron refused to leak any particulars about whether or not superhero Ryan will help his organic dad, Homelander, or adoptive dad, Billy Butcher, in their last battle for energy.

The Californian star admitted he has many emotional scenes lined up for season 5, which is able to start on April 8.

Cameron, 18, also confessed that he is confused – like many followers – about pal Karl Malone’s English accent for Butcher

Ryan also hopes for more appearances in Amazon’s wild, superhero-filled universe, such as Vought Rising or Gen V.

“That would be cool. I would obviously be down for that. That’d be awesome. I think there’s a lot you could do with it.

“Ryan has a lot of interesting stuff going on in his life right now. So we have Vought Rising and Gen V obviously once the Boys ends, so a lot of cool stuff over there too. But as far as the spinoff, that would be really cool. I’m down.”

Asked what fans can expect from the final season, smiling Ryan replied: “All I’m going to say is just a lot of crazy S—.

“I mean, obviously, this show is crazy in general, we always try to push the limits, but definitely this season, at least from what I’ve read, there’s such cool stuff.

“I’m really excited about my stuff I have this season.”

At the end of series four, Homelander took control of the US government, with many of The Boys captured, and Butcher gaining the super killer drugs.

While he remained tight-lipped about the outcome, Cameron confirmed Ryan will be an emotional wreck.

“Ryan struggles with keeping it together.

“That’s kind of why these things happen, keep happening, but I think that really just adds to him as a character, and it makes it even more complex and interesting to play.

“I don’t know how he keeps it together.

“Anytime I have a scene that’s like emotion, we have to cry, I dread it, but usually what I just do is take a second.

“The directors are always really good about it, giving you time to get into the character. Really, just the material and the script are enough to get me to that place. So that’s kind of just my process for it. But yeah, definitely difficult.”

He chuckled, reflecting on which consequence followers will get in the finale, given the show is famed for evil always successful over good

”Exactly. Am I going to Butcher’s home? You just have to see. Yeah, I’m tremendous excited.

“I’m really excited for people to see the really cool stuff.”

Fans worldwide have had differing reactions about Karl’s English accent in the last 4 seasons

Cameron reacted: “I think it’s pretty good. I mean, I actually didn’t know for a bit if he was doing a British accent or a New Zealand accent, and only then did it take me way too long to figure out

“He’s from New Zealand.

“There was a British accent, but I always struggle to find, I know there’s obviously differences,

Really. It took me a while to figure out the difference, but from what I think, I think he does it pretty good.”

The fifth and last season of The Boys is scheduled to air on Prime Video on April 8, 2026,
