A profession prosecutor in Miami has reportedly been removed from overseeing the Justice Department’s investigation into John Brennan, the previous CIA director, after she reportedly expressed doubts about the probe’s viability.

Two sources acquainted with the matter told ABC News that the attorneys concerned in the probe have been informed that Maria Medetis Long would no longer be handling the case. According to a number of sources, the news took a number of people by shock, as interviews have been scheduled that would carry the division nearer to submitting fees against Brennan.

News of Long’s departure was first reported by GWN, who have been told by a Justice Department official that “as a matter of routine follow, attorneys are moved around on instances so workplaces can most successfully allocate sources.”

“It is completely healthy and normal to change members of legal teams,” the spokesperson added. It was reported that the investigation is allegedly centered on a congressional testimony from Brennan about his 2017 function in crafting an evaluation by the intelligence neighborhood that detailed the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Brennan has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and added that he continues to stand by his work and the evaluation. A bipartisan committee has affirmed the evaluation’s findings.

According to ABC News, the probe into Brennan is an element of a bigger investigation originating out of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. The officers operating the investigation have claimed that former officers engaged in a “grand conspiracy” to violate the president’s rights all the way in which back to the 2016 marketing campaign.

It was reported that hundreds of subpoenas have been despatched out to hundreds by the workplace over the course of a number of months to former officers beforehand concerned in the Russian investigation. As of Friday, the tactic has yet to yield any outcomes.

“They committed all the crimes — there should be — I can’t tell you whether or not because I really I don’t have to stay uninvolved,” Trump said. “I’m allowed to stay involved, but I purposely don’t get involved. I can say that they should be arrested.”

“They should be [arrested] because they’re crooked and they got caught,” he added. Trump appeared to shift his stance when requested particularly about Comey and Brennan.

“So, James Comey and John Brennan, would you be comfortable seeing them handcuffed and arrested live on TV?” requested Reagan Reese. Trump responded merely that it “Would not bother me at all.”
