Fox News halts show as Trump makes major Iran | TV Shows


Fox News paused its common programming when Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi revealed the Strait of Hormuz had formally reopened following the U.S. naval blockade.

“We are just getting this in, so bear with us,” the Fox News anchor acknowledged on the Friday, April 17, episode, explaining, “The Strait of Hormuz is on the screen for a purpose.”

The message from the Iranian Minister acknowledged, “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire.”

The Fox News anchor proceeded with the coverage, noting, “So on that news, the stock market is flying through the roof. That opens in 28 minutes, so we will watch that.”

“Now, while this is happening, the US has brokered a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. Apparently, that was one of the conditions which Iran wanted,” the anchor continued, studies the Express.

“So the President is saying he may host both countries at the White House in hopes of striking a last-minute truce. There’s a lot to go through.”

In a social media update, President Donald Trump verified the Strait was “completely open and ready for business and full passage”. In a separate post, the president declared, “It will no longer be used as a weapon against the World!”

Since its outbreak on February 28, the US-Israel battle has claimed the lives of more than 3,000 people.
