FOX News: Lindsey Graham calls for Hezbollah to be ‘completed off’

Fox News appeared to flip on President Donald Trump as they made a major declare about the conflict in Iran.

On Friday, April 17, Fox News anchor Trace Gallagher spoke to a panel of contributors about Trump‘s conflict in Iran, which has been going on since the U.S. and Israel started bombing the nation in late February. Gallagher famous that the markets are method up and fuel is declining, but Democrats are “still harping” on oil costs.

He went on to ask contributor Leslie Marshall if this was a “good battle for the Democrats.” Marshall said, “Yes, because we have to look at the big picture.” She then listed all of the deaths, for both the U.S. and Iran, that have occurred during the conflict so far, questioning, “For what?” This comes after Fox News host Mark Levin made a chilling plea to Trump as the Iran conflict rages on.

Gallagher started his dialogue with Marshall by stating, “It’s interesting because Tray’s right, you know, the markets are way up, you had oil prices that were rapidly dropping today, Leslie Marshall, but, you know, you listen to Democrats, I was listening to several today who are still kinda harping on gas prices.

“I look out the back door, I do know fuel costs have been truly greater three years in the past than they’re to now. Is it a good battle with the way in which issues are going? Is this a good battle for the Democrats to choose, even as late as today?”

Marshall replied, “Yes, because we’ve to look at the big image, and the big image is we’re just a few days into it. And if you speak to economists throughout the world, they are saying, ‘Look, we’re actually hurting Iran’s economic system.’

“But this is going to start not just to hurt U.S. economy, but our allies’ economy, and our allies are not very happy about that.

“Speaking of the American economic system, U.S. vitality costs, if this stays in impact, this blockade, it’s going to harm us in the long run.”

Marshall continued, “And then we just have to look at a lot of people are saying, ‘We have 168 college ladies that died, 13 in the army, and God is aware of how many civilians in numerous nations, since this began, for what?

“To have a strait open that was open before all of this started?’ We don’t have an off-ramp on this and Iran is saying, I know we can’t trust – I agree with Tray on that – but they’re saying, ‘Look, we don’t have all these points agreed to and we’re not giving up for any check with billions of the uranium that the United States claims that is going to occur or the nuclear dust.”

Several Fox News viewers slammed Marshall’s stance on the issue, with one individual writing, “You forgot the uranium enrichment program part!! And the attacks on shipping part. And the number one sponsor of terror part!!”

Another raged, “Funny how Democrats are turning the war into the Hormuz Strait issue and not the fact that Iran has been going for a nuclear weapon, or that they have killed thousands of Americans, or the fact they attack Israel constantly thru their proxies, or the fact they they chant death to.”

A 3rd questioned, “For 47 year all presidents did not want Iran not to have a nuclear weapon so what change?”

A fourth bashed, “She is despicable. What about the thousands of service members killed by Iran proxies over the 47 years and the tens of thousands killed since January in Iran. A democratic hack spouting talking points.”

Yet another slammed, “Marshall you always were a liberal coward You always back a party of losers We removed the worlds number one sponsor of terrorism for the last 47 years We crushed a regime that killed Americans We prevented a regime from ever getting a nuclear bomb Who had enough fuel to make 11.”

Others said, “She is either really clueless or intentionally lying. I put my money on lying,” and “She says it with a straight face….”

However, there have been some who defended the contributor, with one individual including, “I find it despicable that Fox News defends Trump’s actions on this war.

“As a true news channel, they need to be holding the Trump administration accountable for what they did. This conflict was pointless, billions have been wasted, and numerous lives have been misplaced.”

Another said, “Yep. But hey, thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands have been made on insider trading so at least it wasn’t a loss for everybody.” A third defended, “@LeslieMarshall is fierce!! She doesn’t maintain back!!”

On Friday, April 17, Fox News paused its regular programming when Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi revealed the Strait of Hormuz had officially reopened following the U.S. naval blockade.

While breaking news graphics appeared on screen alongside a map of the Strait of Hormuz, Fox News reported, “The Iranian Foreign Minister, who appears to be the man in charge, at least publicly for Iran, just fired this off in a post on X and I’m going to read it for you now.”

The message from the Iranian Minister stated, “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all business vessels through Strait of Hormuz is asserted fully open for the remaining period of ceasefire.”
