Jesse Watters dubbed pompous as he defends $400m | TV Shows

Jesse Watters has been dubbed a “pompous pig” after he raved about Donald Trump doubtlessly holding Kid Rock concert events in his $400 million ballroom.

Watters, who is an avid fan of Donald Trump, mentioned the ballroom with his fellow panellists on Fox News‘s The Five, where he heaped reward on the president.

However, despite initial claims that the project could be 100% privately funded, Senate Republicans have unveiled a invoice to authorize $400 million in taxpayer funds to assist the project, arguing it’s now a security necessity.

Following the announcement of the invoice, Jesse Watters was requested about whether or not America wants Trump’s ballroom, to which he replied, “I never understood the opposition to the ballroom. I mean, all women love ballrooms, and what do guys care? It’s free.”

“The argument that it’s a lavish vanity project? Er, maybe, but it’s mostly for national security. They’re building a nerve center for the Defence Intelligence Agency underneath, and you can’t get a drone through, a missile through,” he added.

Watters then called the ballroom “the safest place on planet earth” as he told his fellow panelists that the building wouldn’t only have the ability to maintain White House Correspondents’ Dinners but “we can also have Kid Rock concerts in there.”

Trying to clarify his stance more, he then famous that the White House is the People’s House, so would not Americans need “more people in the house?” before including, “It can hold like 100 right now, 150, it’s not enough.”

After the show’s broadcast, Fox News viewers flooded social media to remark on Jesse Watters’ remarks, with one X person writing, “This argument is so embarrassing.”

A second individual then penned, “I hope it’s big enough to host all three Kid Rock fans,” while a third individual echoed their sentiments, “Why would you need security for Kid Rock concerts? There wouldn’t be any people in the audience.”

A fourth individual also chimed in on the talk, fuming, “Can always count on Jesse Watters for the dumbest take on building Trump’s ballroom smh,” as a fifth raged, “Misogynistic pig I’ve never been in a ballroom, don’t anticipate being in one and will never desire to be in one How can someone be so pompous and cowering at the same time Jesse has mastered it.”
