Singer Katherine O’Malley has auditioned for the ITV expertise show quite a few occasions before, normally with her husband by her aspect. Speaking about it later on their podcast, Hanging out with Ant & Dec, Dec said: “It was quite the night!” to which Ant replied: “There were walkouts, there were people going at each other. It was a weird night of TV.”

Dec continued: “It was very weird. We didn’t quite know what to expect when we got to the studio… We didn’t know until quite late on whether Jimmy was coming or not.

“We came upon that Jimmy was coming, but that he had a bit of a bee in his bonnet, and he needed to get that off his chest. So it was form of a bizarre evening all around.”
