A specialised Army team and medical personnel have been parachuted onto the British abroad territory of Tristan da Cunha with medical provides and gear, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

“We can be welcoming the company on Sunday, May 10, 2026 and they’ll all be screened for symptoms before they arrive on web site; no one exhibiting any symptoms can be transferred right here. If anybody turns into unwell after arrival, they are going to be transferred shortly to another facility.”
