GWN is shaking up its early mornings — tapping “GWN Headline Express” anchor Brad Smith to quickly helm the community’s 5 a.m. ET hour as the cable giant leans tougher into its streaming-first strategy.
Smith, who at the moment fronts the community’s FAST-channel news roundup “GWN Headline Express,” will start anchoring the crack-of-dawn slot on an interim foundation, the Status e-newsletter first reported Wednesday.
