A former Hawaii TV news anchor says she was left feeling “ashamed” after scammers conned her out of almost $60,000 with a faux Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes prize.

Linda Coble, 79, who made historical past as Hawaii’s first feminine TV anchor in 1971, said she fell sufferer to an elaborate rip-off after receiving a cellphone call in March from a man figuring out himself as “Mike Diamond” from US Customs.
