World Cup fans hit by another astronomical charge…

FIFA World Cup fans who are already bleeding money to attend video games at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles could have to fork over an insane quantity just to park outdoors the world.

The least expensive parking for the first match between the US and Paraguay on June 12 prices an eye-popping $151, according to the official parking associate for the FIFA event.

Adding insult to injury, the lot is positioned more than a mile away from the stadium, or about a 21-minute stroll.

There’s also parking at the stadium itself, but a spot will run fans a staggering $300. And even that’s not close, with a 12-minute stroll to the video games.

On top of that, parking passes aren’t obtainable for buy the day of matches and must be pay as you go.

For fans unwilling to open their wallets, there’s an option to park via the app ParkingWhiz.

It options a number of high-cost choices, with the most cost effective operating $47.73 — but that requires strolling a full two miles to the stadium.

Los Angeles officers have inspired fans to get to the video games via public transportation through its “Go Metro to World Cup” promotion.

“Ride Metro bus, rail or regional transit to a direct service pick-up location near you. No reservation needed,” the LA Metro web site states. “Drive to a park-and-ride location, park your car and take a direct service bus to the stadium. Walk up or get dropped off at a location.”

The metropolis will present a bus service to the stadium from a selection of areas across the town hours before the matches. The value of a fare is just $1.75, and the listing of the pickup areas could be discovered right here.

On top of the high value for parking, soccer fans are shelling out big bucks to comply with their groups, particularly those who don’t need to miss any motion from the Group Stage to the finals.

Following the US Men’s National Soccer workforce from the West Coast to New York is estimated to value two fans around $63,000, according to analysis from AceOdds.com.

Tickets costs make the majority of that finances, with a princely price tag of $34,000.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off on June 11 between Mexico and South Africa in Mexico City. The match will happen over six weeks in 16 different cities across Mexico, the US and Canada.
