Maura Higgins is wanting ahead to her debut on Dancing With the Stars Season 35 this fall–but she has one very particular request when it comes to her potential skilled accomplice.
The Love Island UK and Traitors alum, 35, was the first celeb confirmed to be competing on the ABC competitors collection for its latest season, with Summer House and fellow Traitors alum Ciara Miller confirmed the same day. Savannah Bananas participant Jackson Olson was announced to be becoming a member of the dancing competitors collection one month later.
Now, shortly after Season 34 champ Robert Irwin shared his help for her profitable the entire thing, Higgins has shared her ideas about what she’d like to see occur during her season.
Acknowledging that the training is hard and that she would need somebody who strikes the proper steadiness between straightforward and powerful, she also admitted that there was another professional she didn’t need to be paired with.

“The training is meant to be quite grueling,” she told Us Weekly. “That’s why I want Mark [Ballas], because maybe he might go easy on me a bit. But then I do probably need to be pushed.”
The two related initially during season 4 of Traitors, which noticed both make it to the finale, where she positioned second, and he positioned sixth.
However, since celebrities don’t always get to select their accomplice outright, and professionals like Mark aren’t assured to return each season, she shared her backup choose and revealed who she didn’t need to see in the studio.
“If it’s not Mark, I think I’d want Val [Chmerkovskiy],” she said. “I mean, to be honest, I’m OK to have anyone else. I just don’t want Gleb [Savchenko]. That’s the main thing for me.”

However, her resistance to Savchenko has nothing to do with his educating fashion, but a personal relationship, as she is buddies with his Season 33 accomplice, and ex-girlfriend, Brooks Nader.
“It’s not even being mean. It’s just because I get on with Brooks and that’s that. I’m on Brooks’ side,” she said. “I’m a loyalist, OK?”
Nader and Savchenko rapidly started relationship while competing together on the show, but broke up shortly after their elimination. The pair rekindled the romance after reuniting for the season finale, and dated for a few months before a everlasting break up.
Since then, the pair have often engaged in trading barbs and accusations, with Nader claiming on her actuality show Love Thy Nader that he had cheated on her, one thing he has vehemently denied.

Savchenko’s participation in Season 35 is also not confirmed, though he had been rumored to have been fired from the show before Season 34, and he even claimed on social media that he hadn’t been requested back because of Brooks.
However, he was later confirmed to have been included in the ultimate lineup of professionals and was partnered with Hilaria Baldwin.
The two have been eradicated fourth.
Dancing With the Stars season 35 premieres in September on ABC and Disney+.
