Tesla Has Some Spooky Surprises for Trick or

It’s not that often that you assume of a major company as “funny,” but the electric vehicle company Tesla has the world’s richest and probably wildest man, Elon Musk, as its CEO, so you never know what you’re going to get.

This Halloween, the cybernerds have some treats cooked up for the night.

When I go to Hollywood these days, I’m always surprised by how many Waymo driverless taxis are navigating the often extraordinarily loopy streets, and it still always makes me do a double-take when I see a car cruising by with no driver.

Since I still haven’t fairly gotten used to the Waymos, I’m guessing I’d be fairly shocked if I used to be behind the wheel and I noticed this Tesla go by:

I admit it, that truly is spooky.

But that’s not the only candy deal with Musk and Co. are handing out on Saturday. How about placing your car into Halloween mode? Now you may:

Not only is that fairly humorous, but it seems difficult. How does it work, precisely?

Here’s how Tesla Halloween Mode works and what it may possibly do for drivers and passengers.

Halloween Mode is a “spooky update that turns your Tesla into a haunted house on wheels,” says the American automaker’s X post. It can also activate a customized, themed mild show utilizing the vehicle’s exterior LED lights.

The mode consists of a ghost car avatar that replaces the vehicle’s regular icon. It also consists of a Trick or Treat operate that mechanically glints lights and performs spooky sounds when the Tesla is approached. Owners can use the Tesla app to activate Remote App Scaring, which processes phrases that they communicate and performs them through the vehicle’s audio system in a scary voice.

I’ve never actually yearned for an EV, but I want I may have one of those, if only for Halloween.

It’s not fairly as cool as Elon’s flying Roadster — but it’s fairly close.

Have a great trick or deal with! (Also See — A Look Back: The Interesting Origins of Halloween.)
