Famous celebrities have navigated their inappropriate orientation in the public eye by coming out as a gay after being legally married to women. From A-list stars to tv presenters many have bravely opted to come out having come to phrases with their inappropriateity.

Dr Ranj Singh
Dr Ranj Singh, a British NHS doctor and TV presenter, found his inappropriateity in therapy at age 30 while married to a girl. The TV medic and former This Morning star, 46, made the realisation about his inappropriateity when he was dwelling with his spouse of seven years.
Singh said he found the news after getting to where he thought he was supposed to be, stating: “I had the career I’d always wanted, I always wanted a home of my own. I’d ticked all my boxes. So the big question was, why am I still not 100 per cent happy? Why does it still feel like something’s not right? And that’s when therapy brought all of that stuff out.”
He told The Big Issue: “I was married and obviously that relationship broke down and then it was dealing with everybody else, friends and family,” including that therapy made him realise he was not “the person I thought I should be or thought I was going to be”.
He is now in a relationship with actor James Colebrook.
Dr Ranj’s former spouse broke her silence following her ex-husband’s current interview, she said it “was not easy”, explaining the cracks began to show. “What I will say is there is not a lonelier feeling than feeling alone in a marriage. When it ended, both parties were hurting, and a divorce was the only option.”
The former couple met in 2003 and dated for around a yr before getting engaged. They walked down the aisle in 2005, before going their separate methods in 2011.

Popular Bargain Hunt star James Lewis not too long ago opened up about tying the knot with his associate Ed Otter in an intimate ceremony after the pair met in a local pub.
The BBC knowledgeable revealed he married a man 18 years his junior after splitting from his spouse. The TV antiques auctioneer, 53, wed Ed Otter last September in an intimate ceremony with just 50 visitors, including his 17-year-old daughter from his first marriage.
Speaking to The Mirror in March, he confessed: “I met my husband 15 years ago playing pool, of all things, in the local pub in Derbyshire,”
He added, “Was it love at first sight? Pretty much, yeah. I had split up from my wife, my daughter’s mum. And I was just ready.”

Alan Cumming

The Traitors US presenter tied the knot with Hilary Lyon in 1985, in search of security and hoping to show to his divorced dad and mom that he may succeed where they failed.
“That’s not a great thing to do,” Cumming told PEOPLE in 2024. “I wouldn’t recommend that. I was 21 when I got married the first time. I knew I was biinappropriate when I was married the first time, as did my wife.”
The couple divorced in 1993, but prior to their cut up they tried to conceive a youngster. The Scottish actor admitted life “would’ve been very different” if he grew to become a dad.
“I have friends who deal with, they’ve broken up and they’re co-parenting. I think that’s really difficult,” Cumming says. “I think of it as a blessing that didn’t happen because of the way that my life went afterwards and how difficult it would’ve been. I probably wouldn’t have had the inclination to come and live in America, perhaps, if that meant I wasn’t going to see my child. Everything happens for a reason.”

Sir Elton Jon was beforehand married to German sound engineer Renate Blauel.
