Fox News halted for breaking Iran news as Trump | TV Shows
Fox News issued a breaking news update on Iran after a tense dialogue with President Donald Trump.
On Thursday, June 11, Fox News‘ Fox & Friends co-hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Brian Kilmeade, and Lawrence Jones spoke instantly with Trump about the latest updates on the U.S. negotiating a deal with the Middle Eastern nation.
During their dialog, Trump confirmed “bigger, more powerful” bombings against Iran would happen that night time and that the U.S. might go into Iran with a small group of troopers and “take over the whole place.” However, the chat treaded into awkward territory when Jones commented that the president appeared annoyed.
“Okay, let’s get back to Iran. Much simpler. It’s a much simpler situation,” Trump said before Jones said, “Mr. President, I get the impression that you’re frustrated with Iran.”
Trump interupted, sounding bored with the remark, “I’m not frustrated. I don’t get frustrated.” That wasn’t the only awkward exchange Trump had with the show’s co-hosts.

Kilmeade requested Trump if there could be more bombing tonight, to which he replied, “Yeah. There will be more bombing tonight. It’ll be bigger, bigger, more powerful.”
He added, “Don’t forget, we knocked out all of their anti-aircraft. They don’t have any anti – they have nothing – I mean, they may get lucky with a shoulder weapon or something, but for the most part, you know, they have no defense.”
Jones requested, “What did the representative say in your phone call with them-,” before Trump interupted to say, “They’re finished. Excuse me. They’re finished, but the papers, the media, refuses to write it.
“They’re completed. We can stroll in there tomorrow. We might take troopers – I do not need to have boots on the ground – but if I needed to, we might put a small group of troopers and take over the entire place.”
Fox News shared the moment on their X account shortly after the interview aired. Viewers took to the comments to slam the president’s comments about sending in a small group of soldiers, claiming it was a “reckless” transfer.
One individual raged, “Absolutely reckless to declare a small group might take over Iran when it has practically 88 million people and one of the most important militaries in the area. The human value for both sides could be large if this escalates.”

Another bashed, “Small group of troopers to take over the entire place?? Is this man out of his thoughts? It’s a nation of 85 million people, he talks like he is playin Call of Duty on his sofa while real children get despatched into a meatgrinder.”
A 3rd echoed, “Statements like these underscore how shortly geopolitical tensions can intensify. The precedence needs to be stopping a wider battle while defending harmless lives.”
A fourth famous, “This is worrying rhetoric. This would probably shake global oil markets, push fuel costs up, and hit economies like ours laborious. I hope it stays verbal, not a set off for wider battle.”
A fifth chimed in, “Tonight might mark a major escalation in the battle. The key questions are whether or not the strikes obtain their goals and whether or not they keep away from drawing the U.S. into a wider regional conflict.”
Yet another expressed, “If this occurs, it could symbolize a vital escalation with doubtlessly global penalties. The world can be watching developments very carefully tonight.”
However, Trump did have some supporters, with one person penning, “Iran will never make a deal. They aren’t succesful of being affordable.” Another added, “What we would like from Iran is not potential without Boots on the Ground.”

On Thursday morning, Trump continued to make threats against Iran, announcing that the U.S. intended to strike the country that night and take control of Kharg Island, a strip of land that houses Iran’s most important oil facility.
“The United States can be hitting Iran (Whose Navy, Air Force, Radar, Anti Aircraft, and all other types of Defense, together with most of its offensive functionality, are GONE!), VERY HARD TONIGHT,” he wrote on Truth Social.
“At some level in the not too distant future, we can be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure factors, and assume whole control of their Oil and Gas Markets, very like we’ve with Venezuela, which is figuring out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States of America,” he added.
The president’s comments were his most serious since before the ceasefire in April. They come after the U.S. launched airstrikes in Iran this week, putting strain on the ceasefire and stalling peace talks.
This isn’t the first time Trump has taken to Truth Social to send threats to Iran since the U.S. and Israel first attacked the country in late February.
In April, shortly before the two countries agreed to the ceasefire, Trump warned that a “complete civilization will die tonight, never to be introduced back again.”
