Trump vows to make Freedom 250 speech after

President Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair was evacuated on Saturday due to approaching extreme climate, dealing an embarrassing blow to the president less than three hours before his scheduled speech marking the 250th anniversary of American independence.

The evacuation marked the second weather-related incident in latest days, with attendees instructed to take shelter in autos or other lined places for an indefinite period until situations improved.

“SEVERE WEATHER: A severe thunderstorm is occurring near the National Mall. Seek shelter immediately. Do not wait. Follow instructions from event staff and public safety officials on site,” DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management wrote on X. It comes after a former Trump staffer revealed his 4 chilling predictions for what the president will do next.

Billboards around the National Mall issued a comparable warning. “Event delayed due to severe weather. This event is postponed until the weather passes. Visit Freedom250’s social media for more updates and reopening times. Please proceed to the nearest exit,” the billboard reads.

As of 7:23 p.m., Freedom250 had not supplied any update concerning when the park would reopen or whether or not Trump’s speech – initially set for 9:45 p. m. — would proceed as scheduled. He wrote, “Storms bring luck to whatever the occasion. They also make events a little bit more exciting! We will wait it out, I don’t care if it’s 2:00 O’Clock in the morning, or in one hour from now.

“Looks like it’s going to cross, they always do. I might be there no matter what, but the “what” normally seems to be a good factor. It’s Saturday night time, LETS HAVE SOME FUN, even if we’re out late tonight. They say 11:00 O’Clock for the speech. Who cares???

“Our great veterans, especially the old timers, many of whom are there, went through hellfire, and it didn’t stop them. It’s not going to stop us either! I’m not going to let some rain stop our 250th. I’m leaving the White House soon. God Bless America!”

The thunderstorm watch was set to stay in impact until 10 p. m. — roughly quarter-hour into Trump’s speech, assuming he begins on schedule.

Due to approaching extreme storms, Freedom 250, United States Secret Service, United States Park Police, National Park Service, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and all public security companions are asking all company to evacuate event grounds and search non permanent shelter in a close by building.

“Available shelter locations include the Department of Commerce, Department of Education, Department of Agriculture, Internal Revenue Service, VOA Building, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, National Museum of American History, National Museum of Natural History, the African American Museum, and the Ronald Reagan Building,” she continued.

The evacuation coincides with a brutal heatwave gripping the nation’s capital, triggering emergency responses across town. Attendees at the State Fair on Saturday had been noticed searching for refuge in air-conditioned tents as they struggled to cope with the extraordinary heat.

Just 48 hours earlier, on July 2, Freedom250 launched a assertion addressing the heat and outlining operational modifications in response to temperatures exceeding 100 levels.

Trump supporters turned out in massive numbers on Saturday for his festival commemorating America’s 250th independence anniversary, enduring triple-digit temperatures and the possibility of severe thunderstorms.

Their presence broke a prolonged pattern of disappointing turnout at the festival, which had struggled to draw more than several dozen visitors daily until this point.

However, the excitement proved fleeting – attendees rapidly sought refuge in climate-controlled tents, cramming inside to escape the scorching heat.
