Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted on Monday that his relationship with President Donald Trump “is fine,” despite rising experiences revealing the American president’s waning endurance.

Netanyahu appeared on Fox & Friends on Monday to focus on some of the most urgent points dealing with his administration, including the struggle in Iran and his alliances with other international locations in the Middle East. When requested about President Trump’s public and non-public criticisms of his administration, Netanyahu dismissed issues, describing the 2 international locations as “the best of allies.”

“First of all, we see eye to eye on just about everything. And sometimes, as happens among the best of allies, and we are the best of allies, there can be differences of opinion. speak about it in an open conversation. You can imagine the president has his way of expressing things, and so do I. But, you know, we’re allies. We’re your model ally. And we respect the United States of America,” Netanyahu said.

“And if you come to Israel, it is the one nation here in this region that is not only a democracy, but a democracy in which the overwhelming majority of the people unabashedly support the United States of America. So my relationship with the president is fine. And we have a way of ironing out our differences as allies who respect each other,” he added.

Interestingly, at another level in the interview, tensions with President Trump have been evident, as he criticized Trump’s proposal to provide Turkey with F-35 jets. The prime minister described Turkey as a “regime infected by the Muslim Brotherhood, an extreme movement that hates America and chants ‘Death to America.’”

“I don’t think they should be given F-35s or engines for their fighter jets,” he pleaded.

Reports of a strained relationship between Trump and Netanyahu pile up

In current weeks, experiences have shown that President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu have an more and more tense relationship.

In the most current revelations, which emerged from the e book “Regime Change” by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, in September 2025, during a peace settlement between Israel and Hamas in September 2025, Trump was reportedly on the telephone with the Israeli PM, Jared Kushner and particular envoy Steve Witkoff, when the US president grew annoyed with Netanyahu over an Israeli strike on Qatar.

The e book claimed Trump turned on Netanyahu saying: “Everybody’s sick of you, Bibi. All the Jews are sick of you.” Referring to Witkoff and Kushner, he added: “Even the two Jews on this call are sick of you.”

The books’ authors declare Kushner later told an affiliate: “I’m f***ing out. The Israelis are crazy.”

Trump tried to power Netanyahu to honor the peace settlement, which had not yet been publicly revealed, saying: “You can’t back out of this. I’m the best friend Israel ever had. Everybody hates you, and I’ve stood by you. This is a great deal for Israel.”

Separately, in mid-June, as Washington neared a deal with Tehran, Trump took to social media to denounce an Israeli attack in Beirut’s southern suburbs, which resulted in the death of at least three individuals.

“This morning’s attack on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran. Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process,” Trump wrote on Sunday.

“We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace — Let’s not blow it!” he added.

That same month, reports revealed that the American president called the Israeli prime minister “f—– crazy,” over his handling of the war.

“What the f— are you doing?” Trump reportedly told Netanyahu in an intense phone call this month.

“You’re f—– loopy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this,” the president continued, unnamed members of the administration told the news outlet.

Trump confirmed the phone call during a pre-taped podcast interview, dismissing that his comments came from anger: “I would not say offended. I used to be a little bit perturbed at his consistently preventing with Lebanon, you already know.”

Netanyahu brushed off reports about a tense relationship with Trump, likening the American and Israeli administrations to a family.

“Sometimes we have, as in the best of families, you have these tactical disagreements. We always find a way to work them out, and we do so as great friends. We can disagree in the morning, and by the afternoon we have a common action,” Netanyahu said during an interview.
