Sean Hannity confronted backlash from conservatives after making boastful feedback about the late Lindsey Graham.

Senator Graham handed away from “a brief and sudden illness,” according to a statement from his office. The following day, Fox News host Sean Hannity, 64, paid tribute to Graham, while referring to the prominent political slogan used primarily by President Donald Trump, 80. This got here after the same community interrupted Graham’s tribute for a breaking update on the U.S. strikes against Iran.

Hannity said via phone call, “That was a clear and current hazard to the U.S. And, Donald Trump is an American First president.

“Lindsey Graham was an American First senator. And so, they both recognized the nature of that threat.”

Viewers took to social media to slam Hannity’s feedback, arguing that the nationalist slogan has historic baggage.

Despite the criticism, Hannity had a supporter who shared, “Anybody who supports Trump is a pal to me. Graham will be greatly missed as a Trump loyalist.”
