Mikie Sherrill Lashes Out at Trump, J6, Even Putin

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D) went on the “offensive” against President Trump amid rising national considerations over the extent of unlawful voting.

Bold strategy for a governor who lately disclosed that not only have been 6,600 non-citizens registered to vote in the state, but 400 of them truly voted.

True to kind, the Democrat governor tried blaming a voting technology firm for a software program “glitch” that magically registered non-citizens as voters.

“The new MVC Administrator that I appointed has begun the process of replacing the vendor responsible for administering the system,” she said in her assertion.

Just one downside: As CrimsonState reported, the election vendor, IDEMIA, mainly said the governor is out of her gourd:

“IDEMIA’s role is to transmit information through the motor vehicle system. The voter registration information is transmitted to the New Jersey Department of State, Division of Elections, which is ultimately responsible for verifying eligibility to vote,” the company famous. “Information submitted by IDEMIA must still be validated and adjudicated by the Division of Elections.”

Whoops.

Yet her masterclass in deflection wouldn’t be complete without a familiar villain somehow getting blamed for New Jersey’s election woes.

It goes a little something like this: “This orange-complexioned president has been the sole source of blame for countless Democrat scandals.”

If you guessed “Who is Donald Trump?” then give your self a spherical of applause.

Here is Sherrill in a rant on Thursday that is more unhinged than the doorways at Home Depot.

If you need an English-to-English translation, right here goes:

We transfer in a short time because the people of New Jersey clearly deserve accountability and transparency.

We’re operating an impartial investigation proper now to get to the underside of precisely how this occurred and what’s going on.

But, you recognize, it isn’t a shock to me that the federal authorities, that the Trump administration, needs to immediately weaponize this against people as opposed to focusing on making sure that we’re operating free and truthful elections. That’s my focus.

I might say, again, that Trump has executed more to undermine our election system than anybody in my lifetime, including Vladimir Putin. He has attacked the 2020 election, which he ran. He has also despatched out an rebellion against us when we have been making an attempt to certify that election. He then has defunded all the methods in which we defend and keep our elections protected.

So, opposite to what he is doing right here in New Jersey, we’re centered on operating truthful elections and getting to the underside of what happened.

Oh, we’ve got “gotten to the bottom of it,” Gov. Sherrill. New Jersey has a voting downside that Democrats like you will have no curiosity in fixing.

You would suppose election bugs are a characteristic at this level.

After all, whenever you point out “voter ID” to a Democrat, you get a response roughly like that of Linda Blair in The Exorcist.

Thus, even though 80 % of Americans assist voter IDs, Democrats grasp at more straws than a McDonald’s drive-thru attendant in order to declare it’s “racist” or “sexist” or some form of “ist” —and that’s why we need to have elections that are less secure than Angola’s. (No, severely.)

Sherrill, of course, cried foul about DOJ “weaponization” because the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dhillon, has opened an investigation into what truly occurred.

Why the histrionics? Because Dhillon had the audacity to ask how the state authorities might go away the door open to potential voter disenfranchisement.

Instead of respecting the DOJ inquiry and the intelligence of American voters, Sherrill launched into a tendentious broadside against all of her perceived attackers—and threw in the Russia Hoax to boot.

If you may’t pound the details, pound the desk. Or more aptly, pound on Trump.

But this playbook will get diminishing returns when it comes to points like voting integrity: Scapegoating works best for partisan points, not real points that demand precise options.

So “blame Trump” isn’t going to change the fact that New Jersey is operating elections that are liable to voting errors.

And it’s also not going to work because President Trump is pushing to reform our elections to be in line with requirements once agreed upon by Democrats.

Paper ballots. Voter IDs. Single-day voting.

Remember when Kamala in 2019 pushed paper ballots because ‘Russia can’t hack a piece of paper’?

Now her celebration screams voter ID and secure elections are ‘racist.’

It doesn’t look so good, either, when 30 states are combating like cornered wolverines to keep their soiled voter rolls under wraps.

So, if New Jersey is keen to brazenly admit unlawful voters, think about how unhealthy it must be in Illinois and California.

Screeching Democrats like Mikie Sherrill are giving the sport away: ‘Don’t ask to see our voter rolls. No, we do not know how many unlawful voters there are. If you ask, you’re weaponizing the federal government.’

No, governor, we are attempting to de-weaponize the federal government and put it back in the fingers of the American people. That means election security and guaranteeing free and truthful elections. It means passing the SAVE America Act.
