Producer Sammy Nanwani has announced that his upcoming movie, Jai Hind, Jai Sindh: A Love Story, will release in theatres in October 2026.

The movie is set during India’s Partition and follows a story of love, loss, and hope.

It traces the journey of people whose lives had been modified by the event, while also highlighting the tradition and heritage of the Sindhi group.

Speaking about the movie, Nanwani said the story was impressed by the experiences of his members of the family who lived through Partition. He said their reminiscences of leaving their houses and beginning life again impressed him to convey this story to the screen.

“Jai Hind, Jai Sindh: A Love Story is a tribute to the strength of people who rebuilt their lives after Partition,” Nanwani said. “Through this film, we also want to celebrate Sindhi culture and share its history with a wider audience,” he added.

The movie combines romance with a historic backdrop, displaying how personal relationships are formed by bigger occasions. Along with its love story, it goals to showcase the values, traditions, and resilience of the Sindhi group.

The makers have confirmed that the movie’s promotional marketing campaign will start soon, with the first-look poster, teaser, and music anticipated to be launched in the approaching weeks.
