The Howard Stern Show is now down a co-host after a shock shake-up.
Rahsaan Rogers, who spent 16 years on The Howard Stern Show, announced his exit from the SiriusXM radio program on LinkedIn. Rogers is one of at least a dozen people SiriusXM cut earlier this month after it was revealed that the station’s marquee expertise would do only one live show a week.
“After 16 incredible years with The Howard Stern Show and the Howard Stern Channels, I’m opening a new chapter,” Rogers penned on LinkedIn. “I got to interview people I grew up admiring, direct live broadcasts in real time, and mentor some seriously talented producers along the way.”
He continued with his message, “Working inside the most successful franchise in talk radio taught me how great shows actually get made: preparation, instinct, and knowing what the audience wants before they do.”
Rogers continued, “To everyone I worked with over these 16 years: thank you. What a ride.”
The SiriusXM shake-ups come on the heels of the Howard Stern Show followers canceling their subscriptions and the title host asserting the show could be diminished to once a week.
