It’s been three years since Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) was last on our TV screens, but the folksy, optimistic football-turned-soccer coach is formally back. Despite Season 3’s finale appearing as a quasi-series finale, “Ted Lasso” returns for Season 4 tomorrow, Aug. 5.

Sudeikis confirmed the new installment in March 2025.

After turning the AFC Richmond males’s staff into a profitable Premier League aspect, Ted returned home to Kansas City to be with his younger son, but the new season builds off a scene in the Season 3 finale where Keeley (Juno Temple) presents AFC Richmond proprietor Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) with a proposal for an AFC Richmond ladies’s staff.
