The Woke Language Interim Seattle Police Chief | Political News
Like many Democrat-run cities across the nation, Seattle is a sizzling mess when it comes to combating crime, with metropolis “leaders” often demanding hands-off approaches to issues like confronting avenue thugs, repeat offenders, violent wacktivists, and the like.
Though this strategy has been favored for some time now by the Democrats and socialists who maintain all the facility, Seattle’s overtly socialist mayor, Katie Wilson, took issues to a entire new stage once she took workplace, making silly and harmful choices like these, for instance:
Socialist Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson claims surveillance cameras are “primary threat to immigrants”—they helped determine suspect in brutal assault of aged manhttps://t.co/QruGGeIx2c

UPDATE: Seattle Marxist Mayor Katie Wilson announced today that she has turned off the town cameras since the World Cup Matches are over.
Activists are still planning their protest against the cameras

Perhaps more notorious was Wilson’s resolution to drive then-Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes to resign just days after the town badly bungled the initial response to the mass capturing that occurred at the Bite of Seattle food competition in July, which killed three, including one of the alleged suspects, and injured 4.
Now in Barnes’ place is Interim Police Chief Andre Sayles, who had a relatively attention-grabbing approach to describe shooters during a Labor Day press convention in response to a surge in violence on Seattle streets:
A violent 24-hour stretch in Seattle left three people useless and three others injured following three separate capturing incidents in and around the Belltown neighborhood.
[…]
In response to the fast succession of avenue takeovers and gun violence, questions have been raised relating to whether or not the division was overwhelmed by the amount of incidents occurring in such a short window of time.
[…]
Sayles added that SPD’s intelligence unit is working to tackle avenue takeovers more successfully. The division plans to associate with local companies, increase patrols, and focus efforts on concentrating on identified “trigger pullers.”
“Trigger pullers”? That did not sit properly with some Seattle residents, including journalist Jonathan Choe, who wrote on X, “Now Seattle leaders are trying to control the narrative by creating woke language. Incredible.”
The Post Millennial’s (TPM) West Coast editor Ari Hoffman, also a Seattleite, was equally unamused:
So in Seattle we aren’t calling them “shooters” anymore? Now they’re “trigger pullers”? pic.twitter.com/fiYvVMYpQO

Seattle-based TPM investigative journalist Katie Daviscourt remarked, “Quite the rebrand.”
I get that this time period is sometimes used by law enforcement officers, but I do not suppose it’s extremely common, in half because it is virtually prefer it takes the main target away from the fact that somebody truly shot the gun and places more focus on the gun itself. Which, come to suppose of it, is perhaps the purpose:
A time period from the Biden Administration to transfer away from “repeat offenders who shoot and kill.” Another socialist lodging to criminals, along with “gun violence.” Takes the main target away from felony conduct to the mechanics of a gun. “If only that gun had no trigger.” pic.twitter.com/Keu4kv0vTO

Sounds about proper.
