Watch: Amazing Declassified Footage and Interview With Crew Member ‘Bravo’ Who Was Rescued From Iran
“It’s a story of the teamwork, the training, of the faith, of the decisions and the leadership to do something that will live in history as an example of what America’s willing to do, in order to uphold our promise and leave no man behind.”
Trump Savages AOC and Mamdani for Their Sick Laughter at 9/11 Ceremony
The studying aloud of the names of the 9/11 victims was not the time to snigger; it was the time to weep. Leftists will insist that it was just a fast, misunderstood second, but we all know better.
AOC’s rapturous smile and Mamdani’s devious grin had no place in that time and place, and I don’t assume it’s a bridge too far to say that it reveals every part we need to know about them.
New: Talarico Gets Nailed for Another Whopper About His Donations That Leaves Jaws Dropping
He’s actually the man getting money from the coastal elite, as he tries to complain about Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, the state’s GOP Senate nominee.
Trending Across Townhall Media
Bearing Arms — Indiana Man Arrested After eliminateing Suspected Thief
And that, boys and women, is why you don’t discuss to the police without an attorney current following a defensive gun use. Yes, chances are you’ll be completely satisfied you are in the fitting, and you might be, but one errant phrase may condemn you in the eyes of the police. A lawyer, despite every joke about the occupation I’ve ever told, is there to strive to keep you from saying one thing that will get you locked up.
HotAir — The ‘Anti-AI’ Panic Is Led By…AI Companies
None of these corporations is suggesting that AI be shut down; they’re asking for a large regulatory infrastructure that works with them, reduces their prices, probably subsidizes their investments, and destroys opponents as insufficiently cautious and secure.
PJ Media — Guess Who Helped Doxx the Holdout Juror in the Lindsay Clancy Case
Setting the desk for the doxxing yet to come, Reddington said in public that the holdout juror “robbed” the other jurors of their chosen verdict, saying, “I hope that guy can sleep well at night.”
And now the mob has been activated.
Townhall — Don’t Believe the Hype About James Talarico
This entire race strikes me as one of those future morning-after moments where Democrats wake up hungover after a evening in which the networks call it for Ken Paxton early and ask themselves, “We nominated a vegan, gun-grabbing, woke, anti-capitalist who wants to shut down the fossil-fuel industry and who talks about how God loves abortion and is non-binary, and we did it in Texas, and what the hell were we thinking?”
If this stands as is, if these ladies should not held accountable for politicizing their position as jurors, we will say goodbye to truthful trials with a jury of our friends. Not to point out, why would any American need to serve on a jury after all of this mess? Doxxing? Threats?
Shame on these ladies.
WHAT’S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill…
The critters — they’re back! That means, in addition, to the wild runup to the midterm election, we’ll have hearings and conferences and such. Today, there are just two:
- House Judiciary, Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust Subcommittee — “Examining Healthcare Markets: Fraud and Competition” (Field listening to in Charlotte, NC)
- House Rules — H.J. Res. 210 – Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to “California State Nonroad Engine Pollution Control Standards; Ocean-Going Vessels At-Berth; Notice of Decision”.; H.J. Res. 213 – Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule issued by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to the “California State Nonroad Engine Pollution Control Standards; Commercial Harbor Craft Regulations; Notice of Decision”.; H.R. 9576 – National Fraud Enforcement Division Act of 2026; H.R. 10326 – Preventing Rip-offs and Obtaining Oversight of Funds Act; Senate amendments to H.R. 5334 – Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026

Full Court Press…
We had a couple of notable court selections over the weekend:
- ❌ In DSCC v. Trump (election integrity EO/USPS poll rule), Judge Carl Nichols (D.C.) GRANTS preliminary injunction blocking USPS’s new ballot-mail rule, discovering the Postal Service possible exceeded its authority by imposing new voter-enrollment and verification necessities on federal poll mail.
- ❌ In American Federation of Government Employees, AFL-CIO v. Trump (dismantling of federal paperwork – FEMA), Judge Susan Illston (Northern District of California) GRANTS partial abstract judgment to plaintiffs, discovering DHS and FEMA unlawfully stripped FEMA of control over CORE worker renewals and pursued a plan to cut FEMA staffing roughly in half; remaining aid stays to be decided.
And the tussle over Missouri’s congressional map continues, with the eighth Circuit Court of Appeals now contemplating the matter and anticipated to issue a ruling late this week.
COMING ATTRACTIONS
In addition to that anticipated eighth Circuit resolution, look for some extra rulings from the U.S. Supreme Court on that issue, the USPS poll issues, and a number of other high-profile instances on the emergency docket.
MORNING MUSING
There’s been a lot of focus on the “holdout juror” who refused to acquit Lindsay Clancy (i.e., discover her not guilty by cause of madness). The makes an attempt to out the person are past the pale. We should not know his title. But then…we should not know any of the other jurors’ names either.
Yes, it is their proper to converse to the media if they select to, but that would not make it proper for them to do so. In fact, it seemingly incentivizes the politicization of the complete matter, and feeds an unhealthy need for their respective “15 minutes of fame.”
There’s a lot that ails us as a society – this impulse to celebratize jurors is not serving to.
LIGHTER FARE
Best to start the week out with a smile…
