WASHINGTON — Francisco Lindor understands this season can’t develop into his new norm.
The Mets shortstop has dealt with at least three important bodily points over the past calendar 12 months, and perhaps they contributed closely to his worst season statistically. But there’s also the chance he just wasn’t good.
Asked Friday about his confidence stage in reverting to the previous Francisco Lindor next season, the previous All-Star was forthcoming.
“I have no other option,” he told The Post. “I have to go back to being a plus player at shortstop. Not only defensively, but running and hitting.”
