Ahmaud Arbery’s killers, Greg McMichael, Travis McMichael, and William “Roddy” Bryan, actually nearly bought away with homicide. According to WTOC, Wanda Cooper-Jones, Arbery’s mom, took the stand to testify that Johnson was not forthcoming with data within the days, weeks, and months following her son’s killing.
“My family and I were left in the dark for about 73 days without an arrest and the majority of those days, we didn’t have any information, sir,” mentioned Cooper-Jones.
The strategy seems to be convincing the jury that Johnson had her thumb on the dimensions for her former worker Gregory McMichael. Another witness, Glynn County sheriff’s deputy Rod Nohilly, says that as the primary responder to the scene of the taking pictures, he conversed with Gregory McMichael who admits to calling Johnson within the moments following the incident.
