The unique Alice Cooper Band has made a grand comeback, able to drop their first studio album in half a century.
Slated for release on July 25, the album, dubbed The Revenge of Alice Cooper, is the much-anticipated successor to their 1973 hit Muscle of Love. The iconic shock rock ensemble sees Alice Cooper, now 77, reuniting together with his bandmates: guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neil Smith.
Joining the legends is Nashville’s own guitarist Gyasi Hues. Offstage, they’ve teamed up as soon as more with legendary producer Bob Ezrin, the mastermind behind their seminal works reminiscent of Love It to Death, Killer, School’s Out, and Billion Dollar Babies.
“It was very much like this was our next album after Muscle of Love. Just like, ‘OK, this is the next album.'” Alice remarked to Billboard. “Isn’t that funny after 50 years? All of a sudden it just falls into place.”
The forthcoming album can even embrace tracks that includes the late Glen Buxton, the band’s unique guitarist who died in 1997, notably on the tune “What Happened to You” and a particular remix of “Return of the Spiders,” which followers can discover on the deluxe version of the album, stories the Mirror US.

Their lead single, “Black Mamba” is scheduled to premiere on April 22 during Alice’s radio show, Alice’s Attic.
This project marks the group’s first full-length studio album because the Seventies, though they briefly reunited in 2021 for Alice’s solo album, Detroit Stories, and launched a dwell album, Live From The Astroturf, in 2018.
