Amazon Prime accidentally hit “play” on Jason Statham’s new film “Mutiny” in a major blunder just days before its theatrical debut.
The upcoming movie was set to release in theaters Friday, but the film was made obtainable for streaming by Amazon Prime Video in the US on Wednesday morning for about an hour.

“I’m watching Jason Statham’s new movie Mutiny, streaming on Amazon for free right now. This has to be a huge mistake, right? My theater has showtimes starting this week!” one X person said at 4:13 a.m.
“Someone is getting fired over at Amazon. They uploaded Jason Statham’s new movie Mutiny on Prime a day before it hits theaters,” another person said.

While the film is no longer obtainable to stream, some subscribers had been ready to watch the whole lot of the 95-minute movie while it was up.
Statham performs the position of Cole Reed, a former Special Forces soldier turned elite personal bodyguard. Renowned for performing his own stunts and taking part in robust, antihero characters, the British star is best recognized for starring in “The Transporter” trilogy and in the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
“Mutiny” was produced by MadRiver Pictures alongside Punch Palace Productions – which is owned by Statham himself – and is being distributed by Lionsgate.
