Cuomo’s official X account said he arrived at the sport in time for the second half with the Knicks main the Cavaliers 55-50.
The former governor used his opening remarks in Wednesday’s debate to say “Go Knicks, Go Knicks, Go Knicks” before going toe-to-toe with Democratic frontrunner Zohran Mamdani and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa.
Mamdani, who confronted a barrage of assaults from Cuomo, also used his opening remarks to tackle the Knicks.
“I know you’d rather be watching the Knicks,” Mamdani said.
