After years of travelling down under to movie I’m A Celebrity, Ant McPartlin is significantly considering relocating his total household to Australia completely. The TV presenter, 50, who shares two yr previous son Wilder with spouse Anne-Marie Corbett alongside two teenage stepdaughters, is satisfied he might present his household with a better high quality of life Down Under.
Speaking to co-star Declan Donnelly on their podcast Hanging Out, Ant revealed: “I always think that when we do I’m A Celebrity every year in Australia, the kids play outside all the time, the lifestyle is really good. And I have thought about in the future maybe, maybe I would.”
He continued: “Especially the Gold Coast area where we shoot I’m A Celebrity, it’s just so lovely,” experiences the Daily Star.
“The [food] is really good and the coffee is really good.”
However, before making such a important transfer, Ant acknowledged he’d like to explore more of the huge nation first, confessing he hasn’t seen a lot of Northern Australia.
The Britain’s Got Talent presenter continued: “But what we’ve never done is never explored really the rest of Australia, apart from years ago when we were releasing music (as PJ and Duncan).
“We went to Melbourne, and Sydney and Brisbane but we have explored the northern territory but I’d love to.”
Ant also looked back on leaving Newcastle to pursue a music career alongside Dec as PJ and Duncan, admitting he regrets not pausing to bid a proper farewell to his family home.
He shared: “We never actually had that second – You know when you progress out, or children go to college, or people transfer out the home and you say goodbye.
“We never really had that moment of moving out because we just away for a couple of weeks to do this road show and then we came back and then we went away for a few more weeks to do a promo tour and then we came back to Newcastle.
“And then we just never form of went back and I still look back on it now with unhappiness that we never had that second.”
