Devastated Anthony Joshua has disclosed he is struggling pain ‘in all places’ as an update on his health emerged following a horrific car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two close buddies. The British boxer is at the moment receiving treatment at an upmarket hospital in Lagos, where he is anticipated to keep until the New Year after narrowly surviving with accidents alone.

The Federal Road Safety Corps of Nigeria said in a statement on X: “The incident concerned two automobiles: a black Lexus Jeep [sic] and a stationary pink industrial Sinotruck with unknown registration quantity. A complete of 5 grownup males have been concerned in the crash. Two individuals sadly misplaced their lives, one sustained accidents, while two others escaped unharmed. Anthony Joshua was rescued alive and sustained minor accidents.
“The injured victim was evacuated for medical attention, while the remains of the deceased were conveyed to Livewell Morgue, Ajaka, Sagamu. The Nigeria Police Motor Traffic Division (MTD) was duly notified for further investigation and necessary documentation.
“Preliminary findings point out that the Lexus Jeep, which was suspected to be travelling past the legally prescribed velocity restrict on the hall, misplaced control during an overtaking manoeuvre and crashed into a stationary truck effectively packed by the aspect of the street.”
