Keir Starmer has been accused of being “anti-British” and a “threat to national security” in a blistering assault after the Prime Minister’s strategy to the disaster in Iran has left Britain wanting “weak on the international stage.” The criticism comes as tensions continue to rise following a wave of US and Israeli air strikes against targets in Iran, prompting retaliation across the area and raising fears of a wider battle. TalkTV star Samara Gill delivered a scathing evaluation of Starmer’s handling of the scenario, claiming his stance appeared pushed by home political pressures slightly than overseas coverage management.

She said: “The way Keir Starmer is acting is, even for him, uncharacteristically anti-British. The Gorton and Denton by-election has scared him into these far-left positions, and it is threatening national security.” Gill went on to argue that the Prime Minister appeared more and more unsure about his place as the disaster unfolded. She said: “Morgan McSweeney is not there to direct Starmer in any way and you can see that now from the way that he’s completely rudderless, how he’s completely shifting from one position to another not knowing where he stands.”

Gill also in contrast Starmer unfavourably to historic British management, arguing the nation had moved away from the sort of authority once seen in earlier eras.

She continued: “We came from Churchill to someone like this – someone who won’t stand up for the Iranian people.

“He’s got no sort of standing on the international World stage. Just outside the Iranian embassy there was not one drop of love for Starmer, it was I love Trump. I love Netanyahu.

“This is Muslim’s saying this – everyone hates Keir Starmer in this situation. He has not protected them.”

TalkTV host Kevin O’Sullivan also criticised Starmer’s handling of the crisis, accusing him of trying to balance political pressures at home while attempting to maintain relations with Washington.

O’Sullivan said: “He’s terrified to do what he should do which is, in my view, offer unequivocal support to America in this endeavour to get rid of the world’s most dangerous regime the terrorist regime of Iran.

“He won’t offer support to them because he’s terrified of the Greens.”

He added: “He’s terrified of his own left wing back benches who want a far more pro-Muslim approach to all of this, meanwhile he changes his mind at the last moment to allow Trump to use British airbases in a very limited way ‘purely for defensive action’ and ‘well within the terms of international law’.

“You know he does all that to try and appease America and the net result is he’s pleased absolutely no one.”

The remarks got here as U.S. President Donald Trump also publicly criticised the British chief. “This is not Winston Churchill that we’re dealing with,” Trump said during remarks at the White House.

The Prime Minister has repeatedly insisted that Britain didn’t take part immediately in the initial U.S.-Israeli strikes on Tehran.

Starmer has argued any British navy motion must have a “viable, thought-through plan” and said he doesn’t consider in “regime change from the skies.”

However, the federal government has since allowed American forces to use UK bases to perform what Starmer described as restricted defensive strikes aimed at weakening Iran’s missile capabilities.
