Based Portland Resident Upends Oregon Democrat

One of the rationales Oregon Democrats have been utilizing to push back against President Trump’s authorization of troop deployment to Portland is that they are saying he is utilizing footage of the rioting that occurred in 2020 during the George Floyd riots to justify his resolution, implying there’s no current footage, which is fake.

It’s a concept their mainstream media allies, of course, have floated as effectively, though at least some of them identified that the footage Trump has reportedly seen isn’t just from the 2020 George Floyd riots but from the unrest and violence Portland has seen close to its ICE facility going back at least three months.

According to GWN, “[Trump] first began floating the idea of a Portland deployment weeks ago, on the same day that Fox News – famously Trump’s outlet of choice – aired a story about the protests that mixed recent footage of standoffs at the ICE facility with older footage of the downtown rioting.”

They ignored the fact that DHS Sec. Kristi Noem, who undoubtedly is in common contact with the power about the goings on there, is who requested the help.

But now, amid Oregon submitting a lawsuit against the Trump administration forward of what might be the Oregon National Guard’s arrival by Thursday, one fed-up Portland resident who says they have been subjected to nightly noise disturbances from the agitators is talking out, thanking Trump for performing when metropolis and state “leaders” refused to:

“For over 100 days, my community has faced relentless harassment, robbery, assault, and racial violence at the hands of these protesters. Day and night, the danger has continued while Portland police and city leaders refused to act, refused to protect us, and refused to address our legitimate concerns. The people of South Portland have been abandoned.

Therefore, I want to thank President Trump for responding to our plight by sending the National Guard. Just as President Eisenhower acted in Little Rock to uphold the rights and safety of citizens when local authorities refused, President Trump has stepped in where Portland’s leaders failed. 

He has provided the security and relief our community needed but was denied by those entrusted to protect us.

God Bless you President Trump!”

Daviscourt went on to note that the resident, whom some on X characterized as “based,” blasted feckless Democrat Mayor Keith Wilson for suggesting that the only riot footage Trump could have seen was from 2020:

Additionally, the resident lambasted Portland Mayor Keith Wilson for falsely claiming footage from the 100-day-plus unlawful demonstrations is from 2020, adding in the statement:

“The Mayor has publicly claimed that President Trump is being ‘misled’ by 2020 footage.

That assertion is fake.

I personally filmed some of the footage at issue. The the rest was filmed by other people. Every piece of the up to date footage was launched as evidence in my lawsuit against the City, and in court, all of it was formally authenticated under oath without objection. In other phrases, the City itself confirmed on the report that every portion of the footage is real.

For the Mayor now to assert or indicate that the footage is from 2020, or that its reality is in doubt, isn’t merely mistaken — it’s a realizing misrepresentation of details already established in a court of law.”

The resident’s name was not given, but since they referenced a lawsuit against the city, presumably it is the same one mentioned in this July report from KGW, where it was pointed out that this lady wasn’t a Trump supporter but was sick and drained of the fixed noise and disturbances in the wee hours of the evening, which she said one time really triggered her ear to bleed:

Sirens, bullhorn messages from protesters, buzzers, bells and revving engines are among the cacophony Cloud Elvengrail says are making her home, where she’s lived since last July, “akin to a torture chamber.” 

According to the lawsuit, Elvengrail lives in low-income housing, Gray’s Landing, across the road from the ICE facility, as effectively as close to a Tesla showroom. She said the noises have been taking place effectively into the evening for weeks, with the lawsuit describing an incident in late June, when Elvengrail “felt pressure in her left ear… When she reached up to touch her ear, she saw her finger was covered in blood.”

Efforts to confront said demonstrators, as effectively as contact police, have been unsuccessful, including a number of situations where protesters made violent threats and have allegedly tried to get her evicted.

Unfortunately (but not surprisingly), the court sided against her.

If I’m right and this is the same lady, right here she is back in June, going off on the agitators as she walked around with her cane, which one of the “protesters” urged her to do one thing disgusting with.
