BBC Gladiators star in hospital dash as colleagues rush | UK News

A BBC Gladiators star has been concerned in a frantic hospital dash after his younger son was injured in a snowboarding accident while holidaying in Switzerland. Fitness influencer and gladiator Legend, real title Matt Morsia, shares sons Luca and Mauro with his spouse Sarah. It was Mauro who broke his leg during their trip and had to be rushed to hospital to be fitted with a forged.

The household did, however, continue their vacation – having fun with time in the jacuzzi quite than on the slopes – with Legend sharing a post to Instagram with the caption: “Absolutely sick week of skiing in Switzerland ft. Mauro breaking his leg but taking it like an absolute champ.”

Legend hooked up a snap of him holding his son aloft in the recent tub, with the forged seen on his proper leg. He also included images of the X-ray which confirmed the damaged bone, and Mauro at the hospital with a nurse wrapping his affected limb.

His colleagues rushed to ship Legend their assist, with Giant writing: “Ah mate sending love!” as Nitro added: “What a champ! Recover well.”

Steel, meanwhile, said: “Big hugs. What a strong guy.” Comet added: “Mauro is the real Ledge, get well soon!”

It comes not long after Legend himself suffered a grotesque injury, tearing his distal bicep tendon in his left arm while filming the BBC show last summer season.

He explained on social media alongside a snap of himself in hospital: “A few weeks ago I tore my distal bicep tendon off the bone whilst filming Gladiators. Surgery went really well and I’m gonna be back in no time because I’m a genetic freak, but I’ll be honest and say the last three weeks have easily been the worst of my life.

“I had intense post-operative sickness, didn’t eat for 12 days, and lost around 15kg in bodyweight.”
