BBC Radio has introduced the death of host Tim Jibson, who died “suddenly yet peacefully” on the age of 76.

The obituary shared: “Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday 9th February 2025, aged 76 years, surrounded by his loving family, after the most wonderful day on holiday.” The household has requested a non-public service and cremation.

The Legendary BBC Radio Humberside presenter is understood for his memorable chats with music legends like Marc Bolan of T. Rex and nation celebrity Tammy Wynette. His storied profession spans 4 a long time.
