A collection based on a top-rated WW2 novel is streaming on Netflix for UK subscribers. The choice of WW2 dramas accessible to stream in the UK is kind of in depth, with some being called “underrated” and ignored by followers. One of those is a mini-series that some followers have beloved, while others weren’t so impressed. For the people who loved it, it was a “beautiful adaptation” and “brilliant”.

The mini-series is called All The Light We Cannot See and options some acquainted Hollywood stars, including Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie. The collection follows the 2 characters as they cross paths and strive to survive the destruction and hardships of the Second World War. Reviews of the collection have been blended, with some loving it and some not so impressed.

On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a rating of just 28%. However, its viewers rating is way greater at an spectacular 81%. One IMDb reviewer called the collection a “beautiful adaptation of one of the best books in recent years!”

They wrote: “I used to be anticipating that Netflix would ruin it. But after watching all four episodes, I must say that it didn’t. A great cast with outstanding performances by Louis Hoffmann and especially Aria Loberti with the support of Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie made it a worth watching adaption.”

Another wrote: “I think that the series tried very hard to encapsulate the concepts of the story. Nothing can ever be as good as the book.

“Very few collection or movies are as good as the unique e book, in which our own creativeness attracts the setting, the people and their natures and their characters. In this collection, the 2 younger main characters have been completely stunning, and Lewis Hoffman is a beautiful younger actor, and I’ve a lot regard for him and discovered it an absolute pleasure to watch.”

Among the less-impressed reviews, one person said: “Netflix took a Pulitzer-Prize successful novel and arrogantly thought they may in some way make it better by altering the storyline and fates of the characters in so many methods.
